SHORT-TERM RECOMMENDATION

Take Inventory

A greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory calculates the amount of greenhouse gas emissions resulting from an organization’s energy use, transportation, and solid waste disposal. With proper training and adequate time, Pittsburgh’s colleges and universities could develop accurate GHG inventories for their institutions. This research could be completed through student projects or internships. The gathering of this information will be necessary to move forward with more long-term goals.
