Green gadget giveaway aims to spur public into action

A recent Black and Gold City Goes Green community blitz in Oakland was featured in an article in the Tribune Review. On Saturday, May 19, sixteen volunteers canvased Oakland handing out 200 bags of supplies worth over $50 dollar to help residents reduce their impact on the environment and save money. The supplies were donated by local partners, including Duquesne Light, Whole Foods, and East End Food Co-op. Read the entire article here:
